Conversation Hearts

The situation: Younger generations have lost the urge to indulge in Conversation Hearts. And practically no one likes them for their taste. These powdery, ambiguous candies are loved for their message.

The idea: By tilting Conversation Heart's message from romantic to absurdism, we can spread appreciation, joy and laughter for being silly little humans. In reality, is there really always more to say?

*These were created with the intention to be translated across print, digital and could be produced in video. Think meme-able content that everyone may have a story to share.*

Right now, we see people buying baguette lamps, real strawberry earrings covered in resin, and cupcake looking soaps. Candy Hearts have an iconic cuteness that can be harvested so people bring them everywhere they go.

The idea: Key chains that will have people wearing their opinions on their keys and purses while showing off the iconic shape of Conversation Hearts.

The idea: Bringing absurdism to real life, there will be a poem station set up in different public spaces (parks, grocery store, etc.). Someone will be set up with a type-writer, Bach's branded heart paper, and a sign that encourages people to give a topic and get a poem. All with one idea: to question our human urge to always say more.

These will change based on season and holiday. (Mother's Day, someone's birthday, Christmas etc.)
